The 2023 Cricket World Cup is the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup, a quadrennial international cricket tournament contested by the men’s national teams of the International Cricket Council (ICC) member nations. The tournament is being hosted by India and started on 5 October 2023. It is scheduled to conclude on 19 November 2023.
Ten teams are participating in the tournament, all of whom had to qualify for the tournament through the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process. The teams are:

- Australia
- Bangladesh
- England
- India
- New Zealand
- Pakistan
- South Africa
- Sri Lanka
- West Indies
The tournament is being played in a round-robin format, with each team playing each other once. The top four teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be played on 15 and 16 November, with the winners of each semi-final qualifying for the final on 19 November.
